Rumours coming out of Tignish this morning state that GM Jonathan Mclenaghan is having a hard time not pushing the panic button on the season and if things dont change in the next 10-15 games there may be yet another mini rebuild in the future.
"We have a very offensive minded team here with an offensive minded coach, but he are 3rd last in the league in goals for. If it wasnt for our better than average goals against we would be totally out of the playoff picture. Thing have to change and they have to change soon." GM Mclenaghan was quoted as saying.
Some of the players that are rumoured to be on the block if things dont change are team favorites ed courtnay, and luc robataille as well as center Jamie leach, recently acquired from the Hampton Pirates and defenceman Curtis Leschyshyn, Steve Chiasson, Adam Burt, and Glen Wesley.
Youth seems to be the focus the team will go for once again, hopefully with better results this time. According to other league GM's M. Mclenaghan has been inquiring about draft picks for the upcoming draft but with little luck so far. We will keep an eye on the team over the next 10 or so games and see what moves, if any will be made.
