Trading with teams with no email addys Trading with a team with no email addy to negotiate the trade works like this, The team interested contacts the commmish with the possible trade, then I will forward this to the person and they will agree/dissagree or renegotiate the trade, I will then let you know the status of the trade immediately when the info comes in. 1. Drafting The first year draft will be generated randomly using the program to draft each team, the league players will be NHL players from the 97/98 season The next drafting at the end of the season, will be a waiver draft where each team will protect 15 players, and every player not protected will be put up for grabs where it will be again a random/program generated draft. 2. Trading Trading will be between two league teams, that can involve either players or money or both together. The trade doesnt have to be balanced, just an agreement between two GM's. Procedure A trade can be negotiated anyway, (email,voice etc). Once the trade is finalized BOTH gms must submit the trade details via email, or on paper or in person to the commish before the trade will actually be official. 3. Budget Each team will be given $10,000,000 in which to operate their teams. Such budget will pay for team salaries and the coach. Each team should keep a balanced budget, if not the deficit will be subtracted from the next $10,000,000 given for the next season. A profit will be added to the next season's budget. 4. Farm Teams Each team will be given a small farm team. Alot of prospects come from your farm teams, you can trade your farm team players. Your coach(computer) will recall and demote players to and from your farm team. 5. Awards and special games All star game Sometime in the middle of the season there will be an all star game. Each GM will vote on the players from their conference to make the all star team. Awards At the end of the season, each GM will be asked to vote for the annual player awards. the awards being... Norris (best defenseman) Vezna (best Goalie) Hart (MVP of league) Art Ross (leading scorer) Lady Bing (sportsmanship and excellence in hockey) Selke (defensive forward) The Stanley Cup will be awarded to the league champions, the winning team will recieve $100,000, the runner-up will recieve $50,000. The first overall teamin the regular season will receive $30,000 and each conference leader will receive $15,000. 6. Coaching Each team can fire and hire coaches. If you go to hire a coach you must negotiate his salary. You can also name a coach to the job. Coaches are computer minded, they will manage your starting line ups and starting goalies 7. Rosters No team is allowed to add or delete any player from the league. The rosters given and are to be used for each team. Each team must keep a minimum of 3 centers 4 Right wingers 4 left wingers 8 defensemen, and 2 goalie in their active rosters. The farm team it doesnt matter what you have. Also you dont pay your Farm team players. Each roster will be posted on the internet on the web site, or if you want the commish will email you a copy of the rosters. 8. Stats There will be a web site that will post alot of of stats. Including league standings, player stats, goalie stats, and each teams budget, player stats, and different info. Also on the web site there will be a trading section where every trade and roster moves will be posted. 9. Schedule The current scheduling is looking like a 43 to 50 game season per team. Since one season is to last 31 days plus and all star game, there will be a couple of 2 game days for some teams. Every night before 12 am the nights scores will be posted along with a game highlight (hat tricks, injuries, recors etc).
