Bathurst - After perhaps one of the best finishes to a season and most exciting 1st rounds in ASHL history things are going to getting even better with one of the leagues biggest rivalries takes center stage as the Scotsmen and Titan prepare to clash tonight at Shillelagh Gardens in front of a sold out crowd for the opening game of what guarantees to be a nail bitter of a series.

The Titans and Scotsmen are almost equal in almost all team statistics with the South-Esk taking 1st place in the conference by only 1 point. While the Titans scored 2 more goals then the Scotsmen they also gave up 2 more goals just showing how evenly matched theses 2 teams are. The only really spot where there is a difference is the fact that the Titans play a more disciplined game averaging only 10 penalty minutes compared to the Scotsmen's 23.

When asked about the series Sullivan responded "We love to play against South-Esk there is so much passion in the rivalry both teams step up their games to an unheard of levels. It's great for the fans they get to see hard hitting end to end action. I'd be surprised if this series doesn't go 7."

The Scotsmen won the season series 4-3 but everyone know that anything can happen during playoff time.
